Holiday Magic Canister Set, 3 pc. Sealed Baking supplies, cookies or snacks won't get stale in the sealed canisters. Each lid has a tight plastic seal to help keep your foods fresh. 3 piece set includes 2 1/2 qt., 2 qt. and 1 1/2 qt. canisters.

      RECIPE METHOD

Sift flour, baking powder, and salt together and set aside. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla. Gradually blend in the sifted ingredients until fully absorbed. Cover dough, and chill for 2 hours.
Preheat oven to 400F. Grease cookie sheets. On a clean floured surface, roll out small portions of chilled dough to 1/4 inch thickness. Cut out shapes using cookie cutters. Sprinkle with decorator sparkling sugar. Bake 6 to 8 minutes in the preheated oven, or until edges are barely brown. Remove from cookie sheets to cool on wire racks.

    Decorator Sparkling Sugar:

    3 cups sugar
    1 cup food coloring

Preheat oven to 150F. Stir sugar and food coloring together and spread the mixture in a shallow baking pan. Place the sugar in the oven for 20 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes. Remove when the liquid has evaporated. Cool. Store sugar in a tightly−covered jar.
