- 1 C.
flour 1 tsp. salt
- ½ tsp. cayenne pepper
- ½ tsp. paprika
- 20 chicken wings
- ½ C. butter ¼ tsp. black pepper
- ½ C. hot sauce
- ¼ tsp. garlic
- Combine first 4
ingredients in bowl.
- Coat chicken pieces
in dry mixture.
- Refrigerate chicken
for at least 1 hour (helps breading stick to chicken when frying).
- Combine next 4 ingredients
in small sauce pan. Heat until the butter is melted, then keep warm until
ready to use.
- Deep fry chicken,
10 pieces at a time in 375º oil for 13 minutes.
- Drain on paper towels
for 20 seconds.
- Immediately place
chicken in Tupperware bowl.
- Pour half the hot
sauce mixture over chicken (first 10 pieces). Cover and toss to coat.
Repeat with second batch of chicken.
- Serve with ranch
or blue cheese dressing as dip.
- Wings can be frozen
and reheated in 400º for 10 minutes.
