      RECIPE TITLE "Crescent Chicken Squares " Author: Rhonda, Enid, Oklahoma

      RECIPE INGREDIENTS

    • 1 small container sour cream
    • 2 cups cubed cooked chicken
    • 1 Tbsp. Chopped parsley
    • 1/4 tsp. salt
    • 1/8 tsp. pepper
    • 1 (8-oz.) can Refrigerated Crescent Dinner Rolls
    • 1 Tbsp. margarine or butter, melted 3/4 cup season croutons, crushed

      RECIPE METHOD

    1. Heat oven to 350 degrees.
    2. In medium bowl, combine sour cream and parsley. Add chicken, salt and pepper; mix well.
    3. Separate dough into 4 rectangles. Firmly press perforations to seal. Spoon 1/2 cup chicken mixture onto center of each rectangle.
    4. Pull 4 corners of dough to center of chicken mixture; twist firmly. Pinch edges to seal.
    5. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Brush tops of Chicken squares with 1 Tbsp. melted margarine; sprinkle with crushed croutons.
    6. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown.
