      RECIPE TITLE "Meatballs & Potatoes in Mushroom Sauce" Author: Dine 4 Less

    yieldsserves 6 time-- difficultymoderate


    • 1 pound Lean Ground Beef,
    • 1 teaspoon Salt,
    • 1/4 pound Onion -- chopped,
    • 3 tablespoons Milk,
    • 2 cups Potatoes -- shredded,
    • Black Pepper -- as desired,
    • Garlic Powder -- as desired;

    Sauce: 1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup, 1 can Water.


    1. In a large bowl, mix first set of ingredients well, and form into small balls.
    2. Roll balls in flour, then brown in a large skillet in a small amount of vegetable oil.
    3. Mix soup and water in a medium sized bowl, and pour over browned meatballs.
    4. Simmer 20 - 30 minutes. Flavor improves as mixture simmers longer.
    5. Serve over rice or noodles as desired.
      Note: This recipe can be made in a crockpot, by placing in crockpot after meatballs have been browned.
